Homebound Ministers needed at Epiphany…
Over the last few months we have lost several of our Eucharistic Ministers for various reasons, and we are now in need of additional help. This program reaches out to our sick and homebound parishioners in a very special way. Your ministry would require commitment on Sunday morning following 10:30 Mass approximately three or four times in a six month period depending upon the number of ministers available or number of communicants in need of this Ministry. If interested, please contact Bob Hillis at 315.483.4731 email: email@example.com or call the parish office 524-2611ALTAR SERVERS NEEDED….
We are in great need of more Altar Servers to serve at our 4:45 PM Masses on Saturday afternoon at St. Mary’s. This is a great way to get your family more involved in the church. Many who have served as Altar Servers are now Communion Ministers, Lectors, and Cantors. Please consider asking your children to serve in this ministry on Saturday afternoon. By serving on Saturday you and your children can sleep in on Sunday morning. Training will be provided on a group or individual basis. Please call the office to sign up.
Liturgy of the Word volunteers needed...
Children’s Liturgy of the Word takes place at every masses at each location . After the introductory rite of the Mass, children pre-school and up are invited to come forward and then leave the congregation for their own Children’s Liturgy of the Word, led by a trained leader. The scripture readings and discussion are age appropriate. Children re-enter the church at the Preparation of the Gifts and participate with the adults for the remaining portion of the Mass.
